Here at Voss Cane Corso we strive to breed balanced and versatile Cane Corso able to accomplish any job you may want to give them. Health and temperament coupled with correct conformation and movement are our first priority. We believe a Cane Corso should be strong and agile in body, sound in mind, and have a confident capable attitude.
Our Cane Corso kennel is located in Lakehills Texas. Just a short thirty minute drive from San Antonio. We live very close to beautiful Medina Lake. We take our Cane Corsos out for regular socialization and training as well as work with them here at home.
The Cane Corso, also known as the Italian Mastiff, is a powerful strong willed dog and is not suitable for everyone. You must be willing to spend ample time for training, exercise, and socialization. This is not the kind of dog that can just be thrown out in the back yard and forgotten. With that being said in my opinion they are the best dogs on the planet!! I have never owned a more protective, loyal, lovable breed than the Cane Corso.
As an off leash Obedience trainer I can't state enough about how important temperament is in this breed. All of our dogs are off leash obedience trained or are in the training process. Some have helped me on training lessons and done demo work at training events. I have dedicated countless hours in training and socializing my dogs so that they will be great representatives of the breed. All of our Cane Corso puppies will be sold with a puppy packet and a beginner lesson on leadership and relationship with your pup. If you are unable to pick your Cane Corso pup up in person I will review this info with you over the phone and email you the puppy packet. I want the Voss Cane Corso extended family to have all the tools to set each of our new puppy owners up for success with your new Cane Corso family member.
